What Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Means for Cotton Cattle Company & Our Customers
As we all make personal choices and preparations for the impact of the Coronavirus in our community, our thoughts are with you.
As of today, Monday, March 16, we are planning on shipping orders this week. Shipments will go out Monday, March 16th and Wednesday, March 18th. If anything changes, we will let you know. We will continue shipping packages weekly, unless there is an interruption on our courier service.
What we do know: The Coronavirus can live on cardboard for up to 24 hours.
What we are doing: Our process helps limit the transfer of the virus. We have always worn gloves when taking meat packages from our freezer and packing your package. We are now wearing masks as well. Your package is handled by one person during packaging. It may be handled by two to five people during delivery, depending on how many transfers are made. We will continue to evaluate the process of delivering food to your door (which at this time may be safer than buying food at the grocery store).
We strongly encourage you to use the home delivery option rather than the barn or farm pick-up at this time.
At this time, everyone who works with Cotton Cattle is healthy and practicing social distancing. Please, stay safe and do what is right for your family and the community.
Remember to continue having your orders placed before midnight on Sunday and midnight on Tuesday to ensure safe and timely delivery in the coming week.
Don't hesitate to call with any questions.
Thank you!
Stay healthy. Stay happy.
